The Kraken Film Festival aims to honor outstanding work by filmmakers and screenwriters, fostering diversity in styles and narratives. The cash prizes serve as an acknowledgment of our support for cinematic talent and innovative storytelling.

To ensure a meaningful and motivating remuneration for the winners, we offer the following cash awards:

• Best Feature Film: $500

• Best Short Film: $500

• The Kraken Spirit (indie short that represents the spirit of the Kraken: story from the deep, beyond boundaries): $500

• Best Feature Screenplay: $350

• Best Short Screenplay: $150

These prizes are designed to reflect the commitment required in each category, and are eligeble for the annual competition only. Seasonal winners will compete to the annual competition.
